We attended the Downtown Festival in August. Camden loved driving these pedal cars. He went right for the pink car and jumped in. The lady overseeing the pedal cars commented to me that I was the first mom who let her son drive the pink car. The mothers before me always said "that's the girl car" and made the boys drive one of the two black cars. Really?? I guess I was very surprised by the reaction of other mothers and the pink car. Camden as most other boys was just thrilled to drive the car, regardless of the color. And even if he specifically chose the pink car, so be it. Let the children have some individuality!
