Summer Anticipation

The year is winding down for me. The sun is shining and the air is warm. The school children are eagerly awaiting the last day of school. The teachers are ready to close up their classrooms for the year and I am yearning to be outside with my little man. We had a preview of our lazy summer days this weekend. Camden enjoyed playing in the sandbox, swinging, smelling the tulips, and trying to run down the hill. We ate our meals and snack outside. His new favorite activity is walking around while eating. He thinks he is such a big boy carrying around his graham cracker and playing, then coming back for another with a huge smile on his face. Kona thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors as well and following Camden hoping for some crumbs. My life with a toddler has begun. He is very happy to be dirty and have sand everywhere. Luckily he doesn't try to eat the sand. I welcome the dirt with open arms and can't wait to get dirty right along side him! Summer here we come!
